Number Three Wind Project is an operating 106 MW onshore wind facility located in the towns of Lowville and Harrisburg in Lewis County, New York. The project comprises 27 turbines—5 GE 2.3 MW turbines and 22 Vestas V150-4.2 turbines—and began commercial operation in May 2023. as the transmission owner. Number Three Wind is developed, owned, and operated by Invenergy and is the first renewable-generation asset in the Clean Path NY portfolio to reach operation. The project was awarded a Renewable Energy Credit contract by NYSERDA in 2016 and was financed with construction debt arranged by Nord/LB, Natixis, and Export Development Canada, along with third-party equity and tax-equity financing from M&T Community & Environmental Development Corp. The project generates approximately 275 GWh annually and provides more than $1 million per year in community economic investment.
