Switch operates Data Foundry 00 (formerly Austin 1), a 40,000-square-foot colocation and HPC facility at 7401 East Ben White Boulevard in Austin that launched in July 2003. The facility includes 21,133 square feet of raised floor and supports high-performance computing and blade-server environments; it reports 400 MW dedicated substation capacity and multiple diesel backup generators ranging from 1.5 MW to 2.5 MW per unit.
