Explore ERCOT's interconnection queue on the map
Move from county-level requested capacity to individual project history, while comparing official queue publications and proposed delivery horizons.
ERCOT's interconnection queue is now a native Map content layer. Shade Texas counties by requested capacity, filter the projects by technology and ERCOT feed status, show or hide labels, and keep the exact source, update cadence, connected dataset, and limitations beside the controls.
The queue follows the same clock as the rest of the map. Look backward to the official publication available at that time, move between adjacent ERCOT snapshots, or look forward to active projects whose proposed completion date falls within an expected-online-by horizon. The county card keeps that map-time meaning visible next to its totals and delivery cohorts.
Select a county to open every project matching the current view, then select a project to inspect its queue ID, developer, requested MW, technology, point of interconnection, status, proposed dates, and changes across official publications. A back control returns to the county list without rebuilding the scene.
The grid agent can use a selected county or queue project as context and query Ask the Grid's canonical ERCOT queue table for evidence. Queue MW remains requested capacity, proposed completion is not a delivery guarantee, “Completed” is an ERCOT feed status rather than proof of commercial operation, and county centroids are used because the source does not publish exact project geometry.
