Overview

One row per (month, hour ending, vintage, resource, hybrid sub-ID), from the VER Hourly QC and DR Hourly QC sheets (`kind` VER or DR). These are the 24 slices x 12 months a variable resource can be shown in under the CPUC's slice-of-day RA framework. A blank cell is not stored: no QC shown for that slice is not a QC of zero. `event_time` is the first of the month. Every posting of the MRD is a vintage: `source_time` is when the file was last modified on the CPUC server, and `compliance_year` the RA year it is for. Energy Division reposts each compliance year's MRD every month or so, so read the current values as the newest `source_time` per compliance year, and a past showing against the vintage in force on its date.

Query contract

Preserve one canonical row per (event_time, source_time, resource_id, hybrid_sub_id, duplicate_index, month, hour_ending) before aggregating.

Analysis rules

  • Group only after preserving the declared grain: event_time, source_time, resource_id, hybrid_sub_id, duplicate_index, month, hour_ending.
