Questions
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. There is no card, no trial period, and nothing expires. Without an account you can read the market pages, stories, and data catalog, and open two asset or forecast pages in full. A free workspace removes that limit and opens the live maps, Grid Radar, the grid agent, and alerts.
Why is so much of it free?
Most of what we show is public data from the grid operators. We think it should be easy for anyone to read. We charge when you connect your own private data, because that is where the setup, security, and support work begins.
Which grids do you cover?
ERCOT, NYISO, CAISO, PJM, MISO, ISO-NE, SPP, BPA, Duke Carolinas, Duke Progress East, Duke Progress West, Duke Florida, FPL, Southern, TVA, Baja California, AESO, IESO, CENACE, Hydro-Québec, BC Hydro, Manitoba Hydro, SaskPower, NB Power, and IESO Nova Scotia are live on the map. Grid Radar covers 14 of them. The asset directory covers seven of them.
Are there limits on the free plan?
The grid agent answers up to 40 questions an hour on each free account. Model forecasts are open at trading hubs and load zones, and dataset downloads are part of Enterprise. Enterprise also has no hourly question limit.
How is Enterprise priced?
By what you connect: your data sources, the markets in scope, and how you want it deployed. The data matters more than the seat count, so we scope a price with you instead of publishing one per seat.
What support comes with Enterprise?
Priority support with a direct line to our team, and a service level agreement with the uptime and response commitments set out in your order form. We also sign a data processing agreement. The free plan is supported through the Help Center, and no service level applies to it.
Can we start with a pilot?
Yes. Most teams start by connecting one data source and working through one decision that matters to them.
Can I use the API?
Yes. Request an API key from the developer console after you sign in. Enterprise workspaces include API access.
