Overview

Each source update is retained with its UTC delivery hour, original Central hour-ending label, and acquisition time.

Query contract

Preserve one canonical row per (event_time, source_updated_at, observed_at) before aggregating.

Analysis rules

  • Each changed file is an acquisition snapshot. Use FINAL, select one latest observed_at per source_url at or before the ATG knowledge cutoff, then read only rows in that snapshot. Within it select the latest source_updated_at per native delivery identity. This preserves removed rows as history rather than carrying them into a newer publication. source_updated_at separately bounds publisher knowledge; historical acquisition is retrospective.
  • Compare one price per delivery hour; prices are not additive.

Interpretation

  • Auction clearing is distinct from confirmed transaction averages, nodal LMPs, and SEEM prices. Missing publications do not establish zero prices or trading volumes.
