It interconnects with National Grid's 115 kV transmission system at the Moon Road substation area and operates in the NYISO market. Cassadaga was the first project completed under New York's Article 10 siting law. RWE Clean Energy owns and operates the facility, which entered commercial operation in August 2021.

Trireme Energy Development, LLC acquired EverPower Wind Holdings, Inc., a renewable-energy company that developed, owned, and operated wind farms throughout the United States. Through Trireme Energy Holdings, Inc., Terra Firma Capital Partners Fund Three, LLP owns about 95% of Trireme; James Spencer, EverPower's founder and Trireme's CEO, owns 5%.
