R.E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant, also marketed as the R.E. Ginna Clean Energy Center, is a single-unit Westinghouse pressurized-water reactor near Ontario in Wayne County, New York. It began commercial operation in July 1970 and is currently operated by Constellation Energy Generation, LLC under NRC Facility Operating License No. DPR-18. The facility can produce up to 576 MW of electricity and is located on 426 acres along the south shore of Lake Ontario. The current operating license expires September 18, 2029, and a subsequent renewal application was filed in June 2026 for an additional 20-year operating term.
