Guadalupe Generating Station
Guadalupe Generating Station is a two-block natural-gas combined-cycle plant near Marion in Guadalupe County, Texas. EIA's May 2026 inventory lists four combustion turbines and two steam turbines with 1,088.2 MW of nameplate capacity, 1,005 MW of net summer capability, and 1,042 MW of net winter capability. Guadalupe Power Partners, LP owns and operates the station, which participates in ERCOT through combined-cycle resources GUADG_CC1 and GUADG_CC2. Calpine acquired the plant for approximately $625 million in February 2014; Calpine became part of Constellation in January 2026.
