Old Settler Wind is a wind power facility with 151.2 MW of EIA-reported operating capacity in Floyd County, Texas, registered as EIA Plant ID 60366. Old Settler Wind, LLC is the registered plant entity or operator. Old Settler Wind (151.2 MW) was part of a portfolio transaction announced July 14, 2016 that enabled the U.S. Army’s largest renewable-energy PPA; Apex reported the wind farm will generate enough electricity to power about 51,000 average U.S. homes. The plant began commercial operation in 2017. It participates as an ERCOT generator.
