Zier Solar is a hybrid solar-and-storage facility near Brackettville in Kinney County, Texas. EIA's May 2026 inventory reports a 160 MW solar generator and a 40.4 MW battery generator with 80 MWh of storage, both dated April 2024. Cypress Creek describes the project on a different equipment basis as 208 MW of photovoltaic capacity plus a 40 MW / 80 MWh battery system and announced commercial operation in May 2024. Kiewit reports installing more than 390,000 Maxeon modules and more than 50,000 NEXTracker assemblies; NADBank's project record planned approximately 41 inverters.
