Aligned Data Centers proposed a three-building data center campus on about 89 acres at Mink and Broad Streets in Pataskala, Licking County, Ohio. Reporting describes the campus as a 200 MW proposal. Pataskala City Council unanimously rejected the site plan in August 2026, and Aligned asked a judge to review the denial in September. The plan paired an electrical substation and American Electric Power grid connection with a natural-gas fuel-cell plant built with Bloom Energy. Ohio EPA issued an air permit covering 129 emergency generators, which authorizes installation and does not show that any were built.
