Aligned Glendale Data Center Campus

Aligned's Glendale campus, called Merit 2 in its air permit, sits on 100 acres on North Reems Road in Maricopa County, Arizona, on a former rose farm. PHX-13 is a 72 MW data center that is one of four planned facilities, and a second phase adds 40 MW of IT capacity within an 80 MW development. The city says a new 230 kV Arizona Public Service transmission line will support the campus. Construction of PHX-13 began with a groundbreaking in April, and the county air permit covers 177 emergency engines. Aligned will use closed-loop cooling.
