The Amazon PDX2 Data Center Campus is on Beach Access Road in Umatilla, Umatilla County, Oregon, on about 50.5 acres inside city limits. Vadata, an Amazon subsidiary, bought the initial property in 2010, and the City of Umatilla expects five buildings at build-out. A Bonneville Power Administration load queue entry for PDX2, requested by Umatilla Electric and connecting at McNary, was listed as energized at 30 MW in January 2024. A new substation and a 115 kV transmission line were being built for the site in 2013.
