Amazon Data Services, Inc. has filed a preliminary land development plan for a data center campus of 39 buildings on about 2,200 acres in Center and Blacklick Townships, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, at the Homer City Energy Campus. The county accepted the plan for review on October 14, 2026, and it is not yet approved. Power is to come from FirstEnergy, supported by a natural gas plant that Homer City Redevelopment is building on the former coal station. Construction is anticipated to begin in December 2026 and full build-out in 2036.
