The Amazon data centers at the Warrenton Training Center, also called Station B, are operating facilities on a classified federal communications complex near Warrenton in Fauquier County, Virginia. Amazon Web Services is reported as the operator, and the permit holder is Amazon Data Services. The original project was announced in 2015 by Amazon subsidiary Vadata for the US Department of Defense, and later reporting counts two Amazon data centers at the complex. The state air permit covers emergency diesel generators, and a Dominion spokesman said the Training Center data centers are powered from the Warrenton substation. No source gives a supply or IT capacity in megawatts for the buildings.
