Polaris Forge 1 is Applied Digital's AI and high-performance computing campus in Ellendale, Dickey County, North Dakota, leased to CoreWeave. Two buildings and 10 data halls were fully operational at 250 MW of critical IT load in October 2026, with 400 MW contracted at full buildout. A third 150 MW building is under construction. Montana-Dakota Utilities sells the campus its power under an approved electric service agreement, near its Ellendale 345 kV substation. A diesel generator plant with a draft permit for 252 emergency engines provides backup.
