Baytown Energy Center
Baytown Energy Center is a four-generator natural-gas combined-cycle cogeneration facility in Chambers County, Texas. EIA's May 2026 inventory reports 932.9 MW nameplate, 852 MW net summer, and 819 MW net winter capability across three combustion turbines and one steam turbine, all with June 2002 operating months. The facility supplies electricity and industrial steam. Baytown Energy Center LLC is the registered plant operator; Calpine is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Constellation following the transaction completed January 7, 2026.
