The Lewisport mill produces coiled aluminum sheet for the automotive, building and construction, distribution and transportation markets. It is fully operational, and the most recent $150 million investment campaign was reported complete in October 2025. Commonwealth reported a $600 million expansion and modernization completed in 2017, and announced a $167 million-plus rolling-mill investment in December 2021.

Average monthly peak demand over the three years ending December 31, 2014 was 27,547 kWs. Big Rivers supplies wholesale power to Kenergy, and the Lewisport mill's service is within MISO through Big Rivers. The company's reports give grid electricity consumption of 829,429 gigajoules in 2022 and 811,191 gigajoules in 2023.
