Compass PHX II is a three-building data center development at the southwest corner of El Mirage Road and Peoria Avenue in El Mirage, Arizona, developed by Compass Datacenters. The buildings were planned at 36 MW each, 108 MW at buildout. City permits show a core-and-shell building under construction and further fit-out permits for the other buildings, and Compass has broken ground. Arizona Public Service is the named electric utility, and the two have discussed a microgrid that would respond to capacity and frequency events on the APS grid.
