Gilbert

Gilbert is a natural gas-fired power facility with 512 MW of EIA-reported nameplate capacity in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, registered as EIA Plant ID 2393. In 1996, Gilbert achieved full-load operation of ABB Power Generation’s first GT24 gas turbine, described at the time as the industry’s only commercially available annular sequential-combustion gas turbine. The operating station is identified as a 512-MW natural-gas plant serving the PJM system.
