Project Mica is Google's second data center campus in Kansas City, Missouri, on nearly 500 acres at the northeast corner of Interstate 435 and Highway 169 in Clay County. Google confirmed in February 2026 that construction is underway. Port KC describes five hyperscale buildings and a full-development power draw of nearly 700 MW, while press coverage cites up to 500 MW at full capacity. Evergy serves the site, supplied by the adjacent Nashua Power Station and onsite substations.
