Invenergy began development of the High Sheldon Wind Farm project.
Sheldon Energy LLC and NYSEG executed an Interconnection Agreement governing the design, construction, and transfer of facilities connecting the High Sheldon Wind Farm to NYSEG's transmission system. The agreement was accepted by FERC in Docket No. ER09-309-000 (filing dated October 12, 2008).
The New York Public Service Commission issued and made effective the Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity for Sheldon Energy LLC and provided for lightened regulation of the 112.5 MW High Sheldon Wind Farm project under Case 07-E-0213.
Invenergy announced the closing of debt and equity financing for Coastal States Wind Holdings LLC, a portfolio that included the 112.5 MW High Sheldon Wind Farm. Construction loans were provided by Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG, New York Branch. Equity commitments came from IIF Coastal Winds Investment LLC (advised by JP Morgan Asset Management) and a consortium led by JP Morgan Capital Corporation (including J.P. Morgan, Wells Fargo, and Union Bank N.A. affiliates).
