Cassadaga Wind Farm
Cassadaga Wind Farm is EIA plant 58777, a 125.5 MW onshore wind facility in the Towns of Charlotte, Cherry Creek, and Stockton in Chautauqua County, New York. The project comprises 37 turbines: 27 Nordex N117 units rated at 3.675 MW each and 10 Siemens Gamesa G114 units rated at 2.625 MW each. It interconnects with National Grid's 115 kV transmission system at the Moon Road substation area and operates in the NYISO market. Cassadaga was the first project completed under New York's Article 10 siting law. RWE Clean Energy owns and operates the facility, which entered commercial operation in August 2021.
