- Electricity for the Carson Operations is provided by the existing Watson Cogeneration Facility. The Watson Cogeneration Project is a 385-megawatt combined-cycle cogeneration facility located in the city of Carson, Los Angeles County. A 2017 integration design routes up to six new 69 kV electrical cables and two new 13.8 kV cables from the Carson Watson Cogeneration Facility to the Sulfur Recovery Plant and Wilmington Operations.
