Meta's Forest City Data Center is a campus at 284 Social Circle in Forest City, Rutherford County, North Carolina, held through Andale and permitted by the state air division under permit 10165R03. Rutherford County sold about 138 acres to Andale in 2010, with an option on 15 more, and construction of the first Facebook building began late that year. By 2015 the site had two primary data center buildings and a cold storage data center, and a third building was announced. Duke Energy supplies its electricity.
