Meta Huntsville Data Center
Operating · Meta · 5400 Prosperity Dr NW, Huntsville, AL
Meta's Huntsville Data Center is a campus in the North Huntsville Industrial Park, Madison County, Alabama. Facebook's project entity, Starbelt LLC, bought 340 acres there for $8.5 million in 2018, and Meta broke ground that year. By December 2021 the City of Huntsville said Meta operated two data center buildings, had a certificate of occupancy for a third and three more under construction, with a 250-acre expansion forming a second campus to the north. Meta says it worked with the Tennessee Valley Authority to plan the site's energy needs.
