Quail Run Energy Center
Quail Run Energy Center is a two-block natural-gas combined-cycle plant in Ector County, Texas. EIA's May 2026 inventory reports six operating generators totaling 550.4 MW nameplate, 472.2 MW net summer, and 532.2 MW net winter capability. Four combustion turbines and two steam turbines entered service between May 2002 and May 2008. Calpine acquired the facility from Lotus Infrastructure Partners in September 2024 and describes it as a 550 MW plant.
