The Slate Belt Technology Campus, also called the River Pointe Data Center Campus, is a proposed data center campus in Upper Mount Bethel Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. Slate Belt Holdings, a partnership of Talen Energy and the owners of River Pointe and RPL East, submitted preliminary land development plans on October 13, 2026. At ultimate build-out the plans show up to about 2,100 MW of total facility load. The developer reports agreements with FirstEnergy for 1,020 MW of electric service and expects about 1,000 MW more from grid service and onsite generation.
