Stanton Energy Reliability Center Hybrid

Stanton Energy Reliability Center Hybrid is a hybrid natural gas generation and battery storage facility with 161 MW of EIA-reported total operating capacity and 8.6 MWh of reported storage energy capacity in Orange County, California, registered as EIA Plant ID 60698. SERC is identified as the first new-build application of the Hybrid Enhanced Gas Turbine (Hybrid EGT) technology, combining GE LM6000 simple-cycle generation with integrated lithium-ion battery storage. It was developed as a local-reliability resource for the West Los Angeles Basin area of Southern California Edison’s service territory.
