The Springdale Dynamo Data Center Campus

The Springdale Dynamo is a proposed data center on the former Cheswick Power Station site at 151 Porter Street in Springdale, Pennsylvania. The developer states a load of up to 240 MW of IT power and has said full buildout would require about 350 MW in total. The application proposes one data center building of 535,000 gross square feet, two substation yards and diesel backup generators. Springdale Borough granted conditional use approval in December 2025, and Allegheny County's decision on the land development application is due by January 26, 2027.
