Western Trail Wind is a utility-scale wind project spanning Wilbarger and Baylor counties, Texas. EIA's May 2026 inventory reports one 366.6 MW operating wind record dated April 2022, while Ørsted announced completion of the 367 MW, 130-turbine project on August 4, 2021. Ørsted later agreed to sell Stonepeak an 80% equity interest in a four-project partnership that includes Western Trail; the disclosed transaction value and tax-equity amount apply to that portfolio, not this project alone.
