WhiteFiber's NC-1 is an AI data center campus being built in the former Unifi textile plant at 805 Island Dr, Madison, Rockingham County, North Carolina, on 96 acres bought for $45 million in 2025. WhiteFiber has a 99 MW capacity agreement with Duke Energy, which had completed work to deliver the first 54 gross MW by May 2026. Nscale signed a 10-year colocation agreement for the first 40 MW of critical IT load, worth about $865 million. NC-1 is not a bitcoin mining site.
