Every input is a point forecast with no confidence interval, and their errors do not cancel — a demand forecast running high and a wind forecast running low both push net load the same way, so this series can be wrong by more than any one of its inputs.
Net load is demand minus wind minus solar — the electricity the dispatchable fleet has to produce once the renewables have delivered what they are expected to. It is not published by ISO New England as a feed; this page composes it from three forecasts that are, and plots all three so the subtraction is visible rather than asserted.
New England's solar is overwhelmingly behind the meter, so it never appears as generation — it appears as demand that did not arrive. Net load makes that visible: the midday dip in this curve is rooftop solar the grid never metered, and the winter evening climb out of it is when a gas-constrained system is at its tightest.
In summer, look for the midday belly. In winter, look at the evening: New England's hardest hours are cold January nights, when heating demand peaks and the same pipelines are serving furnaces and power plants at once.
A net-load point exists only for hours where all three forecasts do. The three feeds have different horizons, so this curve ends wherever the shortest of them ends — it is never extended by holding a wind or solar forecast flat past its own reach, which would invent the number the page exists to state.

It includes the solar ISO-NE forecasts, which is the fleet it can see. Behind-the-meter output is already netted out of the demand forecast — it shows up as demand that never materialised rather than as supply — so the midday dip in this curve is largely rooftop solar by another name.
