Ask and verify

Plain-English answers, grounded in live data

Ask about demand, prices, generation, congestion, weather, or a specific asset. The agent answers and, when it helps, moves the map, scrubs time, or draws a chart to show you.

Stuck for a first question? The empty state suggests prompts based on what's on your screen right now.

It can drive the map for you

The agent can pan and zoom to a plant, zone, or node, jump the timeline to a moment you name, and pull up structured cards for any asset — so its answer and the map stay in sync.

Scope, sources & deeper work

An Ask the Grid answer reporting ERCOT system-wide demand and linking to the public ERCOT reports used as sources.
Agent answers link back to the public data used for the result.

Answers stay inside the active grid

The grid open on the map sets the boundary for data lookups, calculations, and follow-up questions. If a question names another market, switch grids before asking so values from different ISOs are not silently mixed.

The active grid name appears in the header and in the agent composer.

Check the sources

Answers cite the public datasets or reports used for the result. Open a source link to inspect the underlying ISO or catalog data, and verify important decisions against the original publisher.

Ask multi-step questions

The agent can work through several lookups and calculations in one investigation. If a lookup fails, it can recover and continue; when the question is too broad, it gives a clear stopping point so you can narrow or continue.

Choose Fast or Deep

Fast is suited to quick grid reads. Choose Deep from the model control for questions that need a longer chain of evidence, more comparisons, or several calculations. Deep requires signing in.

Give it context

Attach assets from the map

Add a plant, zone, node, or dropped pin to your message as a context chip, so "compare these two" or "what's this?" just works.

  1. 1Click an asset's info card, then attach it to the chat.
  2. 2Or Shift+drag a box on the map to attach several plants at once.

Add images

Paste, drag, or pick images (up to five per turn) — a screenshot, a chart, a diagram — and ask the agent about them.

Talk to it

Use the microphone to dictate your question instead of typing. Your speech is transcribed straight into the composer.

Charts and evidence

The agent answering how much of ERCOT demand wind and solar are covering, with a generation-by-fuel bar chart and a written explanation.
A real answer: a generation-by-fuel chart and a plain-English read.

Charts

The agent renders time-series line, bar, and area charts inline when a number is better seen than described.
