NYSDEC permit modification became effective for facility upgrade. The modification approved replacement of the existing Pratt & Whitney FT8 Twin Pac with a Pratt & Whitney FT8-3 Swift Pac configuration. The permitted configuration remained two simple-cycle natural-gas turbines serving one generator.

NYSDEC issued combined Title V air permit for Bayswater/Jamaica Bay facility (permit ID 2-6308-00513/00012). Permit separately identified Bayswater as Emission Unit U-00001 with two natural-gas-fired FT8 turbines serving one generator, producing approximately 55 MW electricity

New York Public Service Commission issued declaratory ruling finding that the proposed upstream ownership transfer did not require Section 70 approval. The Commission confirmed that prior financing approvals and lightened regulation would continue post-transaction.

Hull Street Energy announced acquisition of the Bayswater and Jamaica Bay generating stations from a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources. The transaction transferred upstream ownership interests in FPL Energy Rockaway Peaking Facilities, LLC, including the direct ownership of Bayswater Peaking Facility LLC.
