CloudBurst San Marcos Data Center I is an AI-focused data center campus on the Hays and Guadalupe county line in Central Texas, with a New Braunfels address. CloudBurst and Evolve announced groundbreaking in November 2025, and construction is reported under way in Guadalupe County. The campus is master-planned for up to 1,200 MW, with a first 50 MW phase targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026. Power is described as behind the meter, supported by a contracted natural gas supply, with an ERCOT connection and diesel backup also reported. A July 2026 lawsuit challenges county approvals.
