Digital Realty is building a two-building data center campus on about 97 acres of the former Fort Gillem Army base in Forest Park, Clayton County, Georgia, known in state filings as ATL 15 and 16. The company says the campus is designed for an initial IT load of 212 MW and expects the first phase to open in early 2028. Georgia Power is the named utility, and the plans include an adjacent substation. October 2026 reporting says remediation and site work are underway.
