Elwood Energy is a gas-fired simple-cycle peaking facility in Will County, Illinois, rated at 1,350 MW by its former owner J-POWER USA. After J-POWER USA took full ownership in 2016, Hull Street Energy acquired six turbines now moving to Texas, while Dairyland Power Cooperative owns the three remaining units, which continue to operate.
