Intrepid is a 175.5 MW wind farm in Buena Vista and Sac counties, Iowa, owned and operated by MidAmerican Energy Company. The original Intrepid Wind Farm became operational in 2004, and MidAmerican later listed Intrepid among the sites whose turbines would be repowered beginning in 2017. EIA records 107 GE 1.5-82.5 turbines and 15 Mitsubishi MWT-1000A turbines, connected at 161 kV in the MISO balancing authority.
