Keel Scrubgrass Campus
Proposed · Keel Infrastructure · 2151 Lisbon Rd, Kennerdell, PA
Keel Scrubgrass Campus is a 650-acre site at the Scrubgrass waste coal power plant, 2151 Lisbon Rd, Kennerdell, Venango County, Pennsylvania. Stronghold Digital Mining used the plant to power bitcoin mining; Bitfarms, now Keel, acquired it in March 2025 and decommissioned U.S. mining in 2026. The site has access to 63 MW of power not yet under a formal utility agreement. Keel has submitted load studies totaling 750 MW, studied with FirstEnergy, and is evaluating on-site gas generation exceeding 550 MW, with added power around 2028 at the earliest.
