Kibby Wind Facility

A 132 MW onshore wind facility located in Franklin County, Maine, in the towns of Kibby and Skinner, Maine. The facility comprises 44 Vestas V90 3.0 MW wind turbines arranged in two 66 MW phases. Phase 1, consisting of 22 turbines on the A ridge, began commercial operation in October 2009. Phase 2, consisting of 22 turbines on the B ridge, began commercial operation in October 2010. The facility generates approximately 242 GWh annually and is capable of meeting the power needs of approximately 50,000 homes.
