Microsoft Project Rita Data Center Campus
Approved
Project Rita is a planned Microsoft data center on about 161 acres at the intersection of SR 74 and Kirkley Road in Tyrone, Georgia, partly in Fulton County. The concept plan has two one-story buildings of 252,300 square feet each, rated 48 MW apiece, for a reported campus total of 96 MW. The Tyrone Town Council approved the zoning on March 28, 2024. As of mid-2026 no site plan or construction permit had been applied for, and Microsoft says peak load per building depends on final design.
