What is SDG&E’s relationship to Pacific Wind?
EDF’s September 12, 2012 announcement says Pacific Wind delivers electricity into CAISO for SDG&E’s generation portfolio under a 20-year power purchase agreement. EDF described the project as 140 MW at commissioning.
Why does Pacific Wind have both 140 MW and 151.7 MW ratings?
EDF’s commissioning release uses a 140 MW project rating. EIA reports 151.7 MW of nameplate capacity on this page. These are separately attributed capacity measures and do not, by themselves, establish that the wind farm expanded.
