Sabey San Marcos Data Center Campus
Proposed
The Sabey San Marcos Data Center Campus is a proposed data center on about 184 acres of light-industrial land within a 785.66-acre mixed-use tract near South Old Bastrop Highway and Centerpoint Road in Hays County, Texas. San Marcos City Council voted 7-0 in June 2025 to begin development-agreement negotiations with Sabey Data Centers and the landowner. The plans show a Pedernales Electric Cooperative substation beside the data center. No capacity, construction or final approval has been published, and in June 2026 the council voted 4-3 to prohibit data centers in the city zoning districts.
