Woodbridge Energy Center is a 772.9 MW natural gas fired combined cycle plant in Middlesex County. CPV Woodbridge Energy Center is a 725 MW natural gas combined-cycle plant on Riverside Drive in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey, built on a remediated brownfield. A 2x1 design pairs two GE Fast-Start 7F 5-Series gas turbines with a D-11A steam turbine. Developed by Competitive Power Ventures at about $843 million, it began operating in January 2016. CPV says it powers more than 700,000 homes and cuts congestion costs for New Jersey ratepayers.
