Overview

The report separates non-IRR/non-PUN generation, Energy Storage Resources (ESR), and Intermittent Renewable Resources (IRR), and publishes successive vintages from seven days through 60 months ahead. It is grid-level scheduling evidence: it does not identify the resources behind the approved or received totals. The official source is NP3-161-CD, Available Resource Planned Outage Capacity Margin 7 Day Plus.

Query contract

For each target event_time, select the latest source_time available at the requested knowledge cutoff and retain both timestamps. Read with FINAL before choosing a vintage.

Analysis rules

  • Treat resource_pol_non_irr_non_pun, resource_pol_esr, and resource_pol_irr as separate class-specific Resource Planned Outage Limits. Their optional virtual total is a combined class envelope, not approved or scheduled outage MW.
  • Aggregate approved fields only with other approved fields, and received fields only with other received fields. Never add a limit, an approved amount, and a received amount together.

Interpretation

  • This is an ERCOT-wide operating-day schedule and limit report. It does not identify individual resources, plants, nodes, substations, or lines.
  • Approved and received planned-outage totals describe different workflow states and can change in later publication vintages.
