Overview
Each row preserves a publisher record, workbook row, or report document with its source member and row index. Source timestamps, units, geographic scope, and revision qualifiers are retained in record_json; event_time is collection time; completed_at is when the entire document became available.
Query contract
The view admits a document only when its completion record and exact mirrored row count agree. Select a report_date, source_url and source_sha256 revision before joining source_member and row_index. Interpret observation times from the source record, never from the collection clock.
Analysis rules
·Decode the report's source headers and units before aggregating. Never sum report_date, row_index, snapshots, revisions, regional totals and components, or forecast vintages.
Interpretation
·report_date identifies the requested publisher period. It is not an observation timestamp. event_time records collection, not source publication or delivery.
·The serving mirror keeps the latest row for each publisher record; older collected revisions may no longer be queryable.

Hourly market clearing prices for the ancillary services ERCOT procures alongside energy in its Day-Ahead Market, broken out by product: Regulation Up (RegUp), Regulation Down (RegDown), Responsive Reserve (RRS), Non-Spinning Reserve (NSPIN), and the ERCOT Contingency Reserve Service (ECRS). These prices represent what the grid pays per megawatt to hold capacity in reserve for frequency control and contingency response, separate from the energy itself. Watching them shows when reserves are scarce and expensive (often during tight or volatile conditions), which informs how generators and storage operators allocate capacity between energy and reserve markets, and gives researchers a read on the cost of keeping the Texas grid reliable. ECRS, added in 2023, is the newest of these products and has at times cleared at notably high levels.
What each ERCOT battery offered into the Day-Ahead Market and what it was awarded, hour by hour, from the 60-Day DAM Disclosure Reports. Like the SCED storage file this subreport begins at RTC+B go-live on 6 December 2025. Each row is one hour for one storage resource and its QSE, carrying the QSE's submitted energy curve as up to ten monotonic MW/price pairs, the resource's high and low sustainable limits and status, the awarded energy quantity, its settlement point and that point's day-ahead price, and its ancillary awards with the matching market clearing price for capacity in each service (Reg-Up, Reg-Down, RRS-PFR, RRS-FFR, RRS-UFR, ECRS, Non-Spin). This is where day-ahead storage strategy is legible: how a fleet split its capacity between energy and reserves, what it was paid for each, and how its bid curve related to the price that cleared. It is a cleared-market record on a 60-day regulatory delay, not a live feed. Measured 2026-09-07: 3.2 million rows. The official source is ERCOT report NP3-966-ER, 60-Day DAM Disclosure Reports.
This dataset reports the total quantity of ancillary services ERCOT procured in its Day-Ahead Market, broken out by product (such as Regulation Up, Regulation Down, Responsive Reserve, ECRS, and Non-Spinning Reserve) for each delivery hour. These figures show how much reserve capability ERCOT set aside to keep supply and demand balanced and to respond to contingencies, separate from the energy cleared for actual generation. Paired with the per-product clearing prices, the cleared volumes let traders, researchers, and the public see how reserve requirements shift hour to hour and how much of the market's capacity is committed to grid reliability rather than energy. The data comes from ERCOT report NP4-532-CD (DAM Total AS Sold) and updates with each day-ahead market run.
Cleared day-ahead ancillary-service capacity prices in ERCOT, one row per hour and product. 365,717 rows, 2017-01 to the next delivery day. Products: reg_up, reg_down, spin, non_spin, ecrs. ERCOT procures ancillary services system-wide, so there is no region column — one price per product per hour. price_usd_mw is a price for CAPACITY held in reserve — dollars per megawatt of commitment — not dollars per megawatt-hour of energy delivered. The two are different units and are not comparable to an LMP.
