Grid Radar

Read the ERCOT operations cockpit, move between desks, customize the layout, and share individual widgets.

Read the live cockpit

The ERCOT Grid Radar with a condition banner, headline metrics, supply and demand, generation by fuel, and the grid agent.
The ERCOT overview desk combines live system condition, prices, supply, demand, and fuel mix.

One screen for ERCOT operations

Radar brings the live operating picture into a dense desk: system condition, demand and headroom, generation by fuel, system lambda, hub and zone prices, day-ahead basis, congestion, storage dispatch, notices, and weather.

A widget shows an empty state when its public source is unavailable; Radar does not fill missing values with an estimate.

Move between operating desks

Use the tabs across the top for Overview, Real-Time, Transmission, Resources, RUC, Renewables, Weather, and Events. Each desk keeps related widgets together without changing grids.

Choose a refresh pace

Use Real-time, 30s, or 5m in the Radar header to control how often the desk refreshes. The live badge and source timestamp tell you how current the feed is.

Build your desk

The ERCOT Grid Radar in Edit dashboard mode with drag handles around the live condition, headline, supply and demand, and generation widgets.
Edit mode exposes the controls for arranging and resizing the desk.

Edit the dashboard

Turn on Edit dashboard to rearrange and resize widgets around the information you use most. Select Done when the desk is arranged; the layout returns on your next visit.

  1. 1Open the ERCOT Radar and select Edit dashboard.
  2. 2Drag a widget by its handle to move it.
  3. 3Resize supported widgets from their edge or corner.
  4. 4Select Done to leave editing mode.

Reset a desk

If a layout stops being useful, use the dashboard reset control while editing to restore the default arrangement for that desk.
