Agua Caliente Solar Project is a utility-scale photovoltaic facility in Dateland, Yuma County, Arizona, comprising more than 4.9 million First Solar thin-film cadmium-telluride modules. It is located on approximately 2,400 acres of previously disturbed farmland and interconnects to the Palo Verde–North Gila 500 kV transmission line within the CAISO balancing authority. The project is currently owned 51% by Clearway Energy, Inc., which consolidates the asset, and 49% by BHE Renewables (formerly represented by MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company).
